 Rs 2000 Note Circulation Ban By RBI: RBI will not issue new notes of two thousand rupees. However, it will continue as legal tender money. This means that if someone has a note of two thousand rupees, then its validity will remain. RBI has confirmed this by issuing a press release. However, from May 23 to September 30, you can exchange two thousand rupee notes from the bank. The Reserve Bank of India has argued in its decision that the note has been returned under the clean note policy. Let us tell you that in the year 2016, after the announcement of demonetisation by PM Modi, new notes of two thousand rupees came in the market.


Rs 2000 Note: So many notes can be changed in one go According to RBI, from May 23, 2023, up to a maximum of Rs 20,000 notes will be exchanged at a time. RBI has said that this decision has been taken so that the other work of the bank is not affected. After September 30, there will be no deposits of two thousand rupees in the bank. However, the RBI will continue to deposit the note as it is a legal tender. However, the depositor may have to give clarification as to why he has not yet deposited these notes in the bank.


Rs 2000 Note: RBI orders to banks RBI has advised banks to stop issuing Rs 2 jar notes. RBI has written a letter to the banks and ordered that now the bank or the ATM of that bank will not give two thousand rupee notes to the common people in ATM or cash withdrawal. For this, RBI has ordered banks to reconfigure ATMs and recycling. Along with this, banks have been ordered that in rural, remote areas where there is no bank, banks can help people to exchange notes with the help of mobile vans if necessary.

Rs 2000 Note: Printing of two thousand rupee notes was stopped RBI has said in its press release that, 'It has also been seen that the two thousand rupee note was not used much in the transaction. At the same time, there is sufficient stock of banknotes of 100, 200 and 500 rupees to meet the cash requirement of the people. According to the RBI, the purpose of introducing the Rs 2,000 note was fulfilled after having sufficient quantities of Rs 100, 200 and Rs 500 notes. In the year 2018-19, the printing of two thousand rupee notes was stopped.
